The inset eyes are a lovely touch, adding a unique twist to the line. The articulation is good but not nearly as strong as say, Monster High. The legs are prone to floppiness, no doubt made worse by the lower leg being made of rubbery plastic instead of the typical harder plastic.
But she can pose and the little bands on the cape allow for some fabulously dynamic poses.
Each doll comes with a stand which works well. It clips around the waist which may require some outfit readjusting but it allows the hair and cape to drape nicely behind her.
The shoes slip on and off easily, being lovely and soft. Her clothing is easy to get on and off as well.
Only two gripes really. First, her cape lacks any detail on the inside which seems an odd choice given it's the part you'd see more often than the back. It's just plain white with the outer pattern showing through the thin fabric. It looks unfinished, which is a shame.
Second, her hair. Her hair is a massive issue. Even after a boiling water rinse, it's terribly split and damaged. A good inch and a half of the lower section of hair is just a ruined, tangled, split mess. The black part of the hair is cut haphazardly and a lot shorter than the white, which gives an oddly ratty effect to the longer white section not helped by the condition of the hair fibres.
The nylon itself feels unpleasent to touch being coarse and cheap feeling. At the price point these commonly retail, hair this bad really isn't acceptable.
if they come up for cheap, they're a wonderfully fun addition to any collection but until the hair quality improves they simply aren't worth full asking price.
I love her big, green glass eyes, tho. And her awesome thigh tattoo. Best qualities of Ms. Sashabella for sure.
