Update: 10 months later....
So, this has become my all-time favorite bra. After about 2 months of wash and wear, the shape of the bra toned down and was much more natural. I washed and dried this bra with all of my other clothes on warm/cold and it has held up very well. The cup is thick enough that after about 4 months when milk had regulated, I was able to go without nursing pads because the material would absorb any stray drops. I found the material to be soft, but durable. In fact, my wedding ring would often catch on the outer material, but it did not get torn up, snarled, or pulled like other bras would. I am almost disappointed to transfer back to regular bras since this one is so comfortable. Changing 3 stars to 5 stars.
Update: although the cone shape is natural looking under most clothes, I've noticed that it does leave an empty space at the tip (because my boobs are not the same shape as the cups), so sometimes if I try to wear a tight shirt, the points of the bra pucker or flatten weirdly. I'm taking away one star for this problem. However, I still haven't made it to the nursing stage, so I wonder if perhaps I'll appreciate the extra space later to allow for nursing pads or to avoid rubbing irritated skin.
What I love about this bra is that the band is supportive and DOES NOT RIDE UP. I do not have to adjust AT ALL throughout the day. It's also a very smooth silky fabric (I'm very sensitive to anything even mildly scratchy) that holds up well in the washer and dryer. This is a great nursing bra for work clothing, or if you're like me, post-nursing but don't ever want to look at underwire again.
This is a full-coverage bra, however, so it doesn't work well with scoop-neck tanks. Because it is satiny, the tank will ride down and expose the top of the bra. And it does have a cone-like shape, but I found that it softened with washings, and quite frankly I could use the help with shaping after pregnancy and breastfeeding. It looks fine under tops.
It fit exactly as expected, although I went a size up, because I knew I was "bigger."
A few words about fit: the bra definitely fits on the slightly smaller side. It comes with a 4-hook strap extender, so it worked out for me to order my normal band size, but I am using every hook in the extension to be comfortable. Definitely error on sizing a cup size bigger as well, especially if you're like me and your milk hasn't come in yet. Pre-pregnancy I was a 32F. By the end of the first trimester I was spilling out and needed to go up to a 32G; at the end of the second trimester the 32G still fit except for the underwire pressure. In the Bliss Nursing Bra I'm comfortably in the 32H/I, using the full extender and filling in the cups, but still have a little room that I'm hoping will be enough to compensate for milk.
