I really loved the book finish, the pages are of nice quality, good weigth and opaque, making the reading experience super pleasant. It has comments from the authors (writer and artist) about their decision in working some characters personality and panels from the strips, some comments are just funny thoughts they share with us, which is awesome too!
I would recommend this book for Bravoman fans, and for any comic book lover, because these extra features (concept art, model sheets, comments and rough layouts for the strips) makes it a book that's both, entertaining and technical. It's good to see the behind the scenes, and it's even better to have it within reach of hands.
A must have, for sure!
I did read the comics while they were still running, so seeing the strips themselves isn't anything new to me. Despite that, I enjoy having a printed copy not only for the sake of having an actual printed book (screw you, Kindle!), but because there are comments and rough sketches for each comic! Not to mention lots of fan art and concept sketches in the back to boot!
The book overall is put together wonderfully as well. The title of each strip and the date it was posted can be found in a nice 8-bit grey font beneath each strip, a nice strip of Bravo Blue (which I am declaring a color as of right now) runs along the bottom of each page, highlighting the page number and some strange Japanese hieroglyphics (I think it's subliminal messaging!), and a few other things!
Overall: perfect for new and old fans of Stretchy Cuteness!
