Break Me In is an intense, sexy & dirty read. It makes you greedy for more. Noah and Star's story continue in the second book in the series. We are about to see how the two characters interact with each other and within the club, as well as clubhouse.

Noah shows Star his he-man side, but he can be very sweet when they are alone. Star is not afraid to show Noah her feisty side and to try to stand up to hime. Noah makes her feel safe.

The reader is given a glimpes into Star's past and upbringing. Also, we learn about what life is like for Noah in the club. In the club bedroom, Star and Noah are able to find some comforter and a distraction from the chaos around them.

I fell for Noah after reading this book. The things that he was made to do by Dev and the club made my heart hurt (yes I cried). I won't say any more. I don't want to get it away. Shari Slade has me hooked for this series. I recommend it to others. There is more than meets the eye in this story and the series!

Favorite quote - He's protected me with his fists and shielded me with his body. He's the devil I know.

This is a hard one to rate, so I went middle of the rating scale. First, it is not all that great as far as storyline, but there is something about it that makes me want to see how it all plays out. Which brings me to gripe #2 which is that each "book" is just a part of the story. It is not a cliffhanger, it literally just ends and you are left trying to figure out why your kindle does not have any more pages to slide to. I went against all I beleive in and bought books 2 & 3 because I am a bit too involved to not know how it ends. I am worried now though that book 3 is going to just end mid sentence, and I do not have a book 4. As far as the content of the book, it's trashy biker novella, and has all you would expect from that. Not the best, but also not the worst I have read. It is a quick read, but they are very short novellas too. She does manage to pack a lot of content into the few pages she has. You are left with a pretty thorough idea of what is going on without having to have it all repeated and pounded down your throat and inundated with details not necessary to the story. So that is a plus. I am immediately on to book 3.

This book just sucks you (no pun intended) in, with enough action to keep it from being just sex but an actual story. You get more of a glimpse into Noah & Star's unconventional relationship. Can't wait to read the next installment. If your not into dark romance this is not the book for you.

I just finished Break Me In and I really enjoyed this. It's apart of the Devils Host MC series so Ride Me Hard must be read first. As you know Noah is the enforcer and he has taken Star back to his club to talk to Dev. What he doesn't expect is to have to enforce punishment on Star to find out information from Hardy because he was not talking. It is was a quick yet sexy read. I'm kid confused at a particular spot that happened in the story but cant wait to see what happens next!

the first book was free so I thought i'd take a chance. wow couldn't let it end there.... so I bought this one. I'm so glad I did. I cannot believe I paid for a short book but I thought since the first one was free, I liked it enough to move on.. I just love the way it's written and I only wish it was longer and not so rushed. I will look into more of this authors books but really am not sure if i'm getting the next one of this series. Just too short.

This part is not for the faint of heart. Still panty combustible, Noah walks into a situation where he is forced to hurt Star against his wishes, and the fallout for that proves deadly. Star is an old school when it comes to biker gangs and she doesn't hold it against him. The action is heating up here. I really enjoyed it....five stars.

OMG OMG..SO INTENSE..The first two books have me wishing i could find a biker..i need to sit on a block of ice..Noah is definitely my type of ALPHA..he can have me anyway and anywhere. .I NEED SOME WATER..LADIES if you are in to ROUGH SEX and some kink and more rough and kink and having an Alpha dominate you then this is a must read. .NOT FOR THE WEAK..FYI...
