Zara Hamilton is a 21 year old college student on a mission to avenge her cousin’s death. Professor Noah Bain, 26, is the object of her wrath. The scenario hinted at an engaging story but to be honest, it felt forced and rushed right from the beginning.

For starters, readers are never given a glimpse at what Zara is really like before she sets out on this life/career destroying mission against a person she’s never met. What we do see of her is a reckless, arrogant, conniving nutcase with no self-respect who changes her whole life around based off speculation derived from a somewhat vague suicide letter. (Don’t even get me started on why the cousin would go about it that way). Noah comes off as clumsy and dense. He’s clearly only thinking from below the belt because any educated adult could see through Zara’s immature and absurd seduction tactics.

Sometimes I thought Zara was headed for crazy town. The way she acts and the things she says to Noah are just so over the top that it’s eye roll worthy. (The 50 Shades references and Britney Spears bit to name a few). Despite her loss, it was difficult to believe that any sane person would sacrifice her own college career and pimp out her body to expose something that she could have done by other means.

Readers who are turned off by cheating will not enjoy this one as it’s basically every characters MO in this story. (And what was up with Noah not wanting to bother with a condom when he knows she’s sleeping with Dillon too? Yuk!) No one is really likeable and the reader is served the pathetic, lame excuse that it’s easier to stay with someone rather than leave them even when you’re unhappy and/or your mate is a two-timing abusive jerk.

Breaking Noah is a powerful story of revenge and truth. Noah and Zara's story was amazing from the very beginning and I couldn't help but root for things to go well for these two.

Zara has come to North Western with one goal in mind, to "Break Noah" who is her new professor, and the man she believes is responsible for her cousin/best friends suicide the year before. Zara has shut everyone out and only cares about getting revenge for Karly, and the plan she has... it will destroy Noah just like he destroyed Karly.

Since this book is told in dual points of view, we quickly learn that Noah isn't the person that Zara thought he was. As the book progresses we learn about his connection and his relationship with Karly but its completely different than what Zara has in her mind. I really felt bad for Noah throughout this book. You can tell he has an amazing heart and wants to do the right thing in life for everyone. Yes he makes some bad decisions in this book, but he's conflicted and isn't sure what he wants out of life.

I loved the cat and mouse game that Zara and Noah had throughout this book. How conflicted their feelings were for one another, and all the sexual tension between them. I loved these two together and really wanted everything to work out between the two of them. Yes, there is cheating, but after meeting each of their significant others, you realize that they do NOT belong with the people they are with. The chemistry between the two is HOT and definitely makes for some amazing scenes in this book!

The twists in this book definitely kept me hooked, as well as Noah.. what can I say? I freaking love this man.

Anyone who loves teacher/student romance books, this one is for you. Anyone who knows me, you know I'm all over these books. When I was offered and ARC for BREAKING NOAH, you can bet your sweet cheeks that I jumped at the chance.

Ashley Suzanne and Missy Johnson did a great job co-writing this book. I could not tell the difference in their writing style...It flowed effortlessly.

"What happens when you start falling for your worst enemy?"

Zara had her life pretty much figured out until the day her cousin died. Everything changed for her from that day on. Revenge is what she had in mind and nothing or no one was going to stop her.

In order for Zara's plan to work, she has to transfer to the college of the professor that she blames for her cousin's death, enroll in his class, and start her process of revenge. Zara is determined to make him pay. She is determined to "Break Noah."

"First I’ll seduce him. Then I’ll ruin him."

What Zara was not prepared for was the twist in her plan once her recorded evidence falls in the wrong person's hands. This course of action causes a downward spiral in her plan for revenge. She also wasn't prepared for her heart to overtake her head. Was she falling for the man that she set out to destroy?

Will Zara follow her heart or will she listen to her conscience???

This story has many twists and turns...some I predicted and some that caught me off guard...& that I loved...but I needed more!

I must honestly say that I did not like Zara. I didn't feel a connection with her...but NOAH...I connected 100%. I connected with him right from the start. I just wanted to yell at Zara and shake some sense into times I just wanted to rip her hair out!!!
