Spirit, sass and spunk is what I adore in a heroine and Abby Green has outdone herself in Breaking The Sheikh's Rules, her first venture into writing the sheikh genre. It's an amazing sensual journey you'll take with Sheikh Nadim and Iseult O'Sullivan.

Sheikh Nadim Bin Kalid Al Saqur was quite the ruler and he was in the process of purchasing the O'Sullivan Stud Farm. In fact not only the farm but the O'Sullivan home, along with the services of Paddy, Isuelt O'Sullivan and their housekeeper, plus their prize two year old magnificent horse, Devil's Kiss. What he didn't count on was he would be on the receiving end of her smart mouth. No one, but no one talked to him in the manner this sassy redhead did; she not only challenged him she intrigued him. In the end, the plan was to move his racing and breeding horse program to Ireland and to make sure Iseult returned home with him to Merkazad along with Devil's Kiss to assist in training the prize horse.

What an excuse, to have her return home to his country and see her daily. What a mistake, but he couldn't help himself because he desired her. He didn't do love nor relationships. He would have a mistress from time to time but that was the extent of his love life. At one time he had been married. But his wife and unborn child died, due to a horse riding accident. However, this young and spirited woman stirred things inside him and until he figured it out and got her out of his system, he wasn't going to get much sleep.

It all happened to fast, the sale of the farm, her relocation to Merkazad and being installed in employee housing. Then of course, her being part of his training team. Iseult was confused by her feelings for this handsome sheikh.

Breaking the Sheikh's RulesThis book was great! I'm not generally too much into Sheikh romances but this one was very romantic. The reason of course was the writer. Irish horsetrainer Iesult captivates this Sheikh so completely that he barely knows what the heck he is doing. It's like a moth to the flame==and the writer develops the love=-showing both drawn to one another almost without any ability to stop it. Romantic! worth the buy!

Nadim and Iseult are great together. She's a beautiful Irish lass who has worked to keep the family stud going for years after her father fell apart. She's carried most of the weight of the work, caring for her younger siblings, and never taken time for herself. Nadim is a sheik who lost his wife and unborn child and vowed to stay far away from emotional entanglements. From the first moment they see each other sparks fly. She resents him for taking away her family's holdings although it was him or the bank. He can't believe this wisp of a woman dares to defy him. Then she goes with her horse to his home and despite considerable effort they can't stay away from each other. She becomes his mistress. Can she win his heart? Read the book and find out how they work their way through their differences. You'll love it!

I thought the storyline was believable and tastefully written. Crossing two very different cultures can be risky, but the writer did a good job with that. The male and female lead characters have great chemistry and good dialogue, considering the situation. I will definitely read this one again.

This was Abby Green's first Sheikh book and I think it was a very good read. I read all the other books that he (Nadim) is connected to but had never read this story. Sheikh Nadim has bought Iseult's family stud farm and her prized horse she been training. As part of the deal, she must come to Merkazad to work at his royal stables so she can continue to training the horse and to get her away from her father ...Nadim enrages Iseult...but he also inspires a more unwelcome, unfamiliar feeling: "desire." Drawn into Nadim's sensual world, Iseult feels like a beautiful, confident woman for the first time. But she must remember the sheikh's cast-iron rule "Don't fall in love with me". Iselut went from the stables to the castle Nadim want to keep her close. Nadim didn't think he could love anyone, when he was a young boy his family was kidnapped for three months and after they were rescued his parents were killed being so young he had to take on lots of responsibility. (His brother, the kingdom) he had no time for anything else. He married but it was arranged, he never loved his wife, she died along with the child she was carrying trying to make him feel something for her. The guilt of that and everything has made him close his feelings off. But Iseult has started to chip away at those feeling deep down where he doesn't even know or understanding what is happening. Can these two have a HEA. Read it and find out.

I absolutely loved this book. I loved how the heroine never backed down from the arrogant sheikh. I also loved how the book described his feelings and how much the heroine got to him.
