The first book in the Taylor Saga, Breaking Taylor could be a dark, edgy, and entertaining story of a woman forced into sensual slavery. Instead it rambles with many scenes not really connected to the plot. It needs a complete rewrite to come even close to dark, edgy, or entertaining.
There was no gratuitous sex which is a plus for this fiasco, but reading this manuscript is pure drudgery. Ms Turner should be applauded for her efforts, but she would better serve her readers by shortening the tale or dividing this first book into three, and even with a great rewrite she should seriously reconsider her pricing structure.
The product description is accurate. I agree that Taylor's ordeal was long and brutal. HEA or stockholm? As it turns out this is a saga with more volumes to come.
I purchased Breaking Taylor in paperback Breaking Taylor. I wish I would've known it was available for Kindle at a lower price.
As for grammar and spelling errors....All authors have them in their books. Steven King, Nora Roberts, J.K. Rowing, and even Stephanie Meyer. All of whom are very well known. So grammar and spelling errors happen, over look them in Fiction like this one.
Bottom line... get and read this book along with the others in the series you won't be let down and may just find yourself searching to see what else she has out here.
