Keller is the laid back easygoing baseball coach who loves to tease his head coach Dominic about being wrapped around his woman's finger. They all feel the same way, Corey can get the coaches to do anything she wants. But that doesn't stop them from teasing. Keller has made up his mind that though he's happy for his best friend, that's not what he wants for himself. He's determined to remain single. That's not to say he doesn't enjoy women. He most certainly does, but only once. He's left a trail of pissed off one-night-stands behind him with no regrets. Until her... He has no plans to pursue her, but he knows, she's the one. The one that he plans to deny, even if it kills him, and it almost does.
Molly is new in town. She's helping her aunt by teaching yoga at her new studio. And she's working part-time at the local bar serving drinks. She's heard about Keller. Who hasn't? The other waitresses hate him and don't hold back with their descriptions. You'd think Molly would steer clear of him, but instead, she seems to be drawn to him like all the others. He's kind to her, treating her like a lady. He even goes so far as to take one of her yoga classes. She's very interested, but he doesn't ask her out. He's polite and sweet and unavailable. Until he sees another man showing interest. Woo Hoo! That's what I was waiting for. Now let's have some fun!
Keller thinks that his brain can overcome his heart. He thinks he actually has a choice in the matter. Isn't that cute? He manages to keep himself under control until another man comes sniffing around his woman. Wait a minute. His? Yup, jealousy brings his alpha tendencies; possessiveness, and protective instincts right to the surface. His brain moves even further south and his body takes over when he gets close to her. But how can he stay away with that damn FBI agent asking her out? He knows she wants him, not the FBI guy, but if he doesn't give in she might go out with him. Can he handle that? What do you think?
I love Molly and Keller. Watching the comedy of errors as they navigate their destiny is sweet and hilarious. Especially when the rest of their friends get involved. I'm addicted to this amazing family of friends who are so entertaining. I can't wait to see which coach will fall next.
The guys have this comradely that comes from being such close friends for a while. The girls of course bring in the sweet factor and the funny moments as well. I truly have no complaints. I have enjoyed this series so far and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
