About the Author
He started Midlife Tribe in his late 40’s when he realised there were scores of people in the same age group facing similar challenges and asking the same questions.
Like many others, he had his own midlife crisis and saw there were plenty of traps for the unwary, and a rapidly diminishing time-frame to get his money sorted was a big one.
He didn’t get a Harley or a mistress, but he did splurge on other things in an effort to fill the void that had suddenly appeared. Still, he survived all that and went on to create a life many of us seek. Killing off debt was an important part of that process.
He doesn’t drive a Lamborghini and he doesn’t have everything figured out. But he does enjoy a good life these days. Getting there required screwing up in all the areas that count (relationships, money, health and work/life balance) and learning what works and what doesn’t.
Today, he consults for companies in a diverse range of industries both locally and abroad. He lives with his wife of eight years, their six-year son, and just down the road from his two daughters.
