Kinetix Blade and Bowl System: Designed with 2 powerful Serrated central blades that pull ingredients down. Large curved stainless steel sweeping turn ingredients into tiny particles. This efficient system creates, cool, smooth drinks.

This one seems a bit more well-built than the Nutri Ninja, and the blade is easier to attach and remove, and also a bit easier to clean as the blade isn't recessed as far. I like the cups better, as they have a nice lip for drinking.
The only downside is that ingredients can get stuck up in the bottom of the cup, so you either have to be careful how you layer things, or you may have to remove it and shake it occasionally. In this respect the Ninja works better as it sucks everything down into the blades without any need to finesse it. But for the end result, the Breville is the hands down winner.
Having had it for almost a month, I can say this blender is one of the best investment I've made on an appliance.
The build, the design, and the powerful are by default superior. What's particularly useful to me Is that it blends right in the container that I would drink from. These brilliant design saves me from washing a giant jar, sticking hands into the bottom, and struggling to clean those blades. Now I just need to rinse the blades--with only running water if there is no grease among the ingredients--put the tumbler cap on, and I will be good to go!
The tumblers seal very tightly, and the material they are made of is very sturdy.
The only downside is that this blender couldnes blend frozen fruit WITHOUT any liquid. I tried to make a sorbet, but the motor started to sound weird. it doesn't bother me that much, because with some juice, a smoothie is pretty much tummy the liquid version of sorbet, and it provides more hydration and less freezing irritation to my teeth.
I also have one note to Breville USA--it would be great if the this Boss To Go blender comes with 3 tumblers--two medium and one large--and a grain blending cup, like its Australian version. The potential of milling my own flour or chopping down some seeds at home is exciting, and I believe the US model has the same motor power as the Australian one. Just two more complementary accessories would expand the application of this blender further more. Also, if you can sell the complementary tumblers separately, I'd be interested in stocking up a few more, since smoothies have essentially become my daily meals, thanks to this wonderful blender.
Overall, $128 might seem too pricey having bunch of blenders at a third of this price laying aroundc, but giving the quality and benefits this blender provides, and the many years of service that I picture it will provide, every penny is worth paying.
After using the blender for a week it sort of broke in and is easier to activate, I was really turned off to start but now happy with the operation... still think a flipper type switch would be better. Give it a chance!
