Update: I ordered the coffee again, but I only received 1 bag and this is supposed to be pack of 3. I contacted Amazon and they rushed a "full" order to me which arrived in 2 days, great. Unfortunately, once again I only received 1 bag instead of 3. I am leaving the 5 stars on this coffee as the Chocolate Raspberry is a great flavorful coffee, but I will not order again until they fix their warehouse issue. Someone @ Amazon cannot read "pack of 3", it is not the manufacturer's fault. I also see that Amazon post the notice that it is unavailable until they resolve the issue, so I am glad they are doing something about it. I will buy this coffee again once Amazon fixes the quantity issue.
I was attracted to the idea of supporting a lesser-known company so I thought I'd give Ooh La La Brands a try. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and give them a rating of 4-of-5 stars. Two reasons for not providing 5 stars:
1) While the taste is good, the flavor doesn't pop like the robust aroma in the bag or how the warm scent teases those in another room while it's brewing (people will perk up to inquire; pun intended). I perceived no dirt flavor as some have reported. Some coffees, like darker roasts, can be quite "earthy" but that's not the case here with this light roast from my perspective. In my view, French roast is synonymous with burnt beans. Brew La La's choc-o-rasp flavor is consistent and the texture quite smooth. There's nothing objectionable here, but for me, the flavor just isn't jumping out in the taste like the smell in the bag or the brewing would have you anticipate. In my experience, no flavor jumps out like that of Green Mountain brand. I will concede, as we all should, that perceived taste is highly subjective and it's affected by many things (one's health, age, lingering residue from previously consumed items, smoking, and other factors). Ever notice how most things whack-out your taste if you just finished brushing your teeth? Give the coffee a chance, breathe the aroma first, and then taste it.
2) The packaging is a challenge to manually open. The seal at the top of the bag is ½" wide. It's quite effective, as there's no way it'll break the seal accidentally, but I dare you to open it with bare hands, especially without tearing the flaps or spilling it.Read more ›

I really like chocolate coconut flavored coffee, but this doesn't fit the bill. Odd fake flavor, wouldn't purchase it again.Published 22 months ago by Andrea Boling
Slightly sweet for a dark roast but still a nice flavor. Really finely ground as well.Published 23 months ago by Melanie F.

I found the coffee to have a bitter after taste. I will drink it, but I will not purchase it again and hopefully Dunkin Donuts will sell their brand soon.Published on March 18, 2014 by Marietta
