I am a huge cozy mystery fan, but one failing common to many cozy authors is making their main protagonist stupidly risk-taking, enough so it makes me want to throw the book against the wall in disgust (not a good idea when you're reading on your Kindle!). This author avoided that trap, and made me care about what happened to her. I'm not from Pittsburgh, but my husband has been there many times on business and thoroughly enjoyed his stays there - he wants to read this series too. (He's also the beer drinker of the family.)
I am looking forward to more from this author. Publisher, don't let me down!
