It has various beers and styles ranging from classic light American lagers to rare Belgian ales. I was surprised not to find a couple clone recipes I was expecting to see but it still has a lot to offer.

This book has plenty of information but my favorite part is the amount of recopies it has. There's about 100 of them. It explains Malt Extract to Full Mash in good detail. This book is also a hard cover which makes it even better since its going to be use for years to come.

This is an awesome comprehensive recipe book for homebrewers. Even though I don't often follow others' recipes, this is perhaps the most useful recipe design book I have. You can look up a broad style family and see the "nuts and bolts" that tend to go into it, or you can use a recipe from the book and tweak it the way you like it. Or just brew your own pirate Hamms (not kidding -- it has a Hamms clone recipe) straight out of the book and live your best life if that's what you want to do. There are all kinds of examples in this book, which is super handy any way you approach it. My only complaint is that it doesn't lay flat!

This book should be titled as The big book of American clone recipes.
It contains an extremely small number (probably less than 10%) of non US beers. Even the English ales section was dominated by US ales!
If you do want to brew US beers, this will be a good choice of reference for you, otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

This is a really good clone book - yes its more geared towards the US market but why not try some of their breweries recipes? Also has some English and European so those are also available to try. Weights and measures are in pounds and ounces AND Kilograms so ideal. Good book and will be doing more of these recipes.
