Some self-help authors ask you to make a leap of faith and a huge commitment to change your life for the better. You won't find that stuff in here. Author Benson's approach is that little changes in the things you're already doing will add up to big differences in your enjoyment of life. No need to turn your life on its head; just do old things in new ways. Few of the 26 1/2 ideas will be new to you, and in fact you probably know they're things you should be doing already. The engaging and encouraging way they're presented make it easy for you to give them a try. You'll start taking care of your self better, and take the parts of your life that could be minus and turn them to plus. The writing style seems simplistic at first, but its simplicity belies its depth. Each time you read it, you'll see something that you didn't notice before.
