Fun Family Film

*This is a great find right now... Christmas, when you want to hang out and have something fun to watch with the kids.
Mocumentrys can be a lot of fun... if done right - and this one was.
The script/improv is right on target, the characters push the the limit but don’t go over the top… so you can stay in the moment and thoroughly enjoy getting immersed in this small world of competitive 'Lego type' building. The acting and editing are terrific and the comedy timing is sharp…
Really, we were just a few minutes in and I had several "laugh out loud" moments and I realized we were in for fun night.
I would definitely recommend this movie...it is something special!

I'm Jeff, I'm 43, from Fresno, CA, and my favorite piece is this movie. The playful nature of this entire mockumentary is so much fun. The writing is fresh and unpredictable. The pacing and editing are fantastic, the Director got great performances out of everyone. Some films require additional viewings to catch everything, and this is definitely one of them. Do yourself a favor and purchase this immediately, you will not regret it.

Pulls You In

Five stars might sound exaggerated, but it isn’t. I had heard that this was a fake documentary, and I had my doubts about this. I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself engrossed in the characters, even though I knew it was all pretend. That’s how excellent every single cast member is in this film. Job well done to those who did the casting as well, they could not have found a more perfect cast.

Oddly Funny Film

My husband and son had started watching before I sat down. I seriously thought I was watching a documentary on lego building competition until I realized the characters were way into it. That and my husband and son constantly laughing. This is a great funny film to watch with the family.

Wicked smart and funny mockumentary
Verified purchase
Wickedly smart and funny mockumentary about the world of adults in competitive toy brick building (ala Legos). The characters fell easily into their roles and I felt like I was spending 90 minutes watching a real documentary about my friends in Fresno, except that it's really really funny. For anyone that appreciates a well done mockumentary, anyone that enjoys the silliness of adults being nerds, or if you just need a good laugh, I would highly recommend this film.

This is great! Entertaining, funny and heartfelt, I enjoyed this from start to finish. Also... it made me want to get out my Lego sets. 🙌🏻 This is a feel-good movie and a great way to start off a new year.
