Bridging Heaven & Earth with Michael Tamura
Bridging Heaven & Earth, an international spiritual talk show, is produced by The Bridging Heaven & Earth Foundation. Focussing on the opening the heart; BHE strives to bridge the spiritual and the physical, the human and the divine, heaven and earth within each one and the Oneness in all Life. In an article in the California Sun, Editor Nicole Shoong stated that "it is our understanding that, for this type of show, whose only purpose is to speak to the upliftment of Spirit, and to the Oneness in all Life, without any specific spiritual or religious orientation, "Bridging Heaven & Earth" is the most watched and admired show on the planet."
Begun in 1995, "Bridging" has spread its message of Love and Oneness across the international spiritual scene. Hosted by Allan Silberhartz, a spiritual teacher and mystic "Bridging" has featured many of the spiritual communities most prominent Lights. It is one of the overriding themes of "Bridging" that it is not really important how the guests manifest their gift (whether through the written word, music, art, channeling, healing, or whatever), but that their gift be manifest with grace, dignity, humbleness, and Love. Join with us and all our illustrious guests to inspire, awaken, and heal the condition of the heart in this time of great transformation. The focus is on expansion, enlightenment, and the ascension into greater levels of compassion, humility, and self-awareness. In short, "Bridging" is about Love.

Jose Arguellas talks about Mayan prophecy, materialism, Time, and the spiritual World to Come. (One of the eerie things about him is his uncanny resemblance to Timothy Leary.)
Philip Gardiner illustrates his ideas about universal archetypes with interesting music videos populated with iconic images.
Michael Tamura actually gives a fascinating and effective TV primer on how to begin meditation.
The setting is definitely "public-access cable" and you won't get more than a start on deep knowledge here. I'm sure the question-answer format isn't the best path to mystical knowledge, but like any good talk-show, this DVD does propels you to further reading and watching. Most of the musical interludes, though entertaining, are a bit of a distraction, and I found myself fast-forwarding through them--not a problem, since this DVD is some 3 hours long.
