This new International Wide-body Carry-On weighs less than 8 lbs. yet still packs the intelligently engineered features that savvy travelers crave. 80/20 lid opening design allows the bag to be packed like traditional luggage on a luggage rack or a bed. Perfect for a 1-3 day trip.

This bag is brilliantly made, with ample organization inside to pack for a 3-to 5-day trip (if you roll or use packing cubes). I can fit two business outfits, three casual shirts, one pair of shoes, all my underthings, toiletries and make-up.
It also fits with my large rolling expandable briefcase (also B&R), which works well for when I travel to deliver presentations and workshops.
As you can see, the international wide-body spinner fits easily in the Southwest checker (16"), but the width at 15.5" is over the 14" requirement that many other airlines use. Make sure you order the 14" spinner if you don't want to take a chance.
I'd probably get the next size of of this B&R set if I were needing to take business attire, but for a casual vacation, even a long one, having this bag (and not having to check it!) was a good choice.
It is great size for carry on, and it is well made. My SO has already taken it on a few trips as well, and I'm pretty sure I will not get it back from her.
Other amazon customers have stated this too. I think there is a design flaw here. Since I didn't figure this out soon enough, I can't even return it. I did write to the Briggs and Riley. Let's see what they do to make this right. I will update once I get a resolution.
Aside from the cost, the only con is the stupid foam they installed around the handle area to make sure you always have a "flat pack" area. It's a total waste of space, and the same effect could have been easily accomplished with a ridged flap or similar.
