I got this jacket in the plum color at a deep discount--and it was worth every penny and more. From far away it has a shiny leather look. But up close, you can see it's kind of a slick nylon--but it looks sporty, not cheap. The quilting and the gold zipper are nice details. The shoulders also have the slightest bit of padding, which gives the jacket some nice sharp angles and extra shaping, instead of just hanging on your body. I look forward to wearing this in the fall, over blouses and lightweight sweaters.
