Zoe is is daughter of a career criminal named Garth Huntington who raised her in a loveless home. She escaped to her friend Rusty Kelly to save her life from the criminal element all around her.
When she met Joe Rusty' s brother it was love at first for both of them.
I enjoyed the read , but there was too much recycled thoughts, words and information previously read.
3-19-17. Terri Davis. Oklahoma City, OK
And then the man Zoe is hiding from finds her while she is conveniently alone outside the compound. How was she found and in the end who was he? There was no depth to this book at all and is not one I would recommend.
Some have posted missing all the action, I thought there was plenty of it, just in a different way. The Team has changed and those changes needed to be shown. Back in book one we had Ethan married and now the last of the family has fallen under cupid's spell. New people added to the team and Rusty is no longer a runaway young girl, but a woman in her own right.
I loved Zoe and Joe's story. Maya hit an out of the park homerun with this one. It left me waiting for the next one so I can see what happens next. I Just hate the thought of the end of K.G.I. I am hoping that she has another one already in the works!
