Out on the farm, Life is quiet. The cow and horse are out on pasture while the tractor is taking the hay load to the barn. With this BRIO farm railway set the crane lifts the hay up onto the loft. When it's time for the Animals to move indoors, place them on the wagon with help from the fold out ramp and transport The wagon with the farm train set. Farm toys are fun!

Engaging play and learning are integral themes in all Brio toys, satisfying a child's educational needs and growing with them through their various phases of development. Take the train out to the farm on the single loop track, past the cow grazing in the field and deliver the hay bales. Drive the train to the barn and unload the hay into the double height barn. The mechanical, magnetic crane hoists the hay into the hay loft for winter storage. Use the crane to slide the hay out and into the farm tractor and hay wagon and drive it out to the livestock. Turn the bright red knob to raise and lower the hoist. The hay wagon has 2 dowel pegs to secure the load for transport. Be careful to look both ways when crossing the train tracks. When it's time for the animals to move inside the barn load them into the train car with the help of the fold out ramp and pull the car with the engine. It's hours of farm friendly fun with the Farm Railway set. A 20 piece set with train engine and cargo car, farm tractor and hay wagon, 2 story barn with hay loft, special track crossing section, magnetic hay bale, a cow, 2 fence sections and a "cow crossing" warning sign.

BRIO was founded in Sweden in 1884 and is a world renown brand best known for its wooden railways first created the 1958 and sold throughout the world. They actually started out making wooden baskets!

Since then BRIO have built up a huge range of Toys including Infant and Toddler toys, Activity, Roleplay and of course expanding the ever popular wooden railways.

In 2015 the game and puzzle manufacturer Ravensburger acquired BRIO. Both companies share a similar product philosophy as well as a long-lasting history and tradition.
