- The spout is too high, so you can't dispense all the water from the bottom, even if you tip it.
- It's very difficult to clean (the top water compartment is very hard to remove, the corners are too tight to get a sponge into, etc.)
- The water flow from the spout is very slow
- The filter that came with the dispenser is warped and doesn't seal snugly in the hole. Unfiltered water drains through to the bottom, which defeats the whole purpose.
Overall, it just feels like junk. I've called Brita to complain, and they were actually very nice. They sent me a replacement filter for free, which seems to be better than the original, but that's only one of the issues. The only positive comment I can come up with is that the dispenser does fit very well into various shelves in the fridge. I haven't completely given up on Brita, but this dispenser is definitely not their best product.
Note though that when you go to first wash it, it is VERY difficult to disassemble. Once you actually get the liner out of the container, then it's relatively easy to wash if you have a deep sink. My sink isn't very deep, so I just throw it in the dishwasher now (without the filter of course) and it gets it cleaned for me. The nozzle is great and really lets the water come out at whatever rate you want it to come out.
