5.0 out of 5 starsReduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rihanna!

These girls are now funnier than the Workaholics guys, working in roughly the same genre. I would not have though that was possible (big Workaholics fan), but they're amazing. Like the Workaholics guys, they have an incredible supporting cast that raises the level of the whole show. The actors playing Trey, Lincoln, Jaime and Bevers routinely steal the episodes in which they appear - no easy feat with these woman leading the way. Likewise, special appearances by the likes of HRC, Tony Danza and Kelly Ripa are a treat. Ilana's boss, brother and parents also absolutely crack me up. This is a great show of the decade that is just hitting its stride.

I even liked the Bong Time Machine spin-off. I'm all in.

5.0 out of 5 starsSTRAP ON YOUR STRAP-ON!

It would be too revealing to say that these girls remind me of my college years in Laramie, Wyoming. This is THE BEST and THE FUNNIEST thing I've ever seen. Abbi and Ilana serve up the most hilarious stuff episode after episode. Critics have cited episodes that did not deliver the goods but I, for the life of me, have no idea what they're talking about. I can even re-watch episodes and find bits I missed the first time around because the comedy is so fast-paced and dense. Sometimes it's the people in the background who are hilarious! The entire cast is funny. The cameos are amazingas well. If female sexuality is tough for you to swallow, steer clear, but if you can take it, then strap on your strap-on and enjoy the ride.

5.0 out of 5 starsThis show is so ridiculously brilliant and large-hearted

This show is so ridiculously brilliant and large-hearted. I can't rave about it enough. How can I explain how gender amazing this is - you know you see shows with female protagonists and it's: the lady president, the good wife, the girl in the big city finding her way in love and life - whatever happens, happens to a "girl" - not a person, a girl/woman. And she's always embroiled in relationship (whether romantic, platonic, or familial) longing, angst, drama, or scheming - everything else is secondary. Not in Broad City. These women get to be actual people with lives that include a good many, all hilarious, facets. You must watch this.

5.0 out of 5 starsBrilliant physical comedy and funny funny funny

My absolutely favorite comedy. I can't really explain why these two women feel like home to me - I was never that brave or free - but they are hilarious and very human. So much better than Girls. Part of the appeal to me of Broad City is its sense of the world - that there is one beyond the characters' lives. Yes, they are from middle class homes, like the Girls characters, but Abbi and Ilana - as actresses/comics - manage to express through dialog and their brilliant physical comedy the complexities.

5.0 out of 5 starsClearly heading to the top for female comedians. And they're young. Not fair!

Soooooo funny! If you're down, this will kill you. Iliana has the most uninhibited personality. She'll say/do anything and I die laughing. This series is full of talent, thoughtful writing and scripts. Abby is such a great character. Their friendship is heartwarming. But it's got totally "raunchy" language and subject matter, which doesn't offend me, but be forewarned.

I seriously do not think a better show could be created. I live in NYC and was here throughout my 20's sometimes living through similar experiences as these two. Their hijinks are somehow completely ridiculous but simultaneously believable and true to life if you have ever been young, struggling, and creative in the Big Apple. Each episode keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait for season 3 !

These two women epitomize how young people think and act and the craziness they experience as they try to grow up. They're lovable and wonderful even when they're making awful mistakes and stepping all over themselves and each other in the process. They parody their world and themselves at the same time.

5.0 out of 5 starsBe aware. The "Broads'" are for a mature audience

Season 1 or Season 2, OMG, these girls are hilarious! They are friends to the core and their friends, well run the gamut. The writing is hip with fast delivery and one has to listen closely so as not to miss subleties. Subject matter surrounds their city lives in the heart of New York that's not uptown. The Birthday Dinner episode (I think it's the last one in Season 1) is my favorite.
