Obviously, based on the titles, each book is about a billionaire. For a refreshing change of pace these books are not about power hungry, controlling, sadistic type billionaires. The main characters in these books, when you remove the aspect of their immense wealth, are all lonely, caring, sensitive people. They embody the point that money can't buy you everything. Ann Omasta thought out of the box for this set of books and presented her readers with relatable characters that just so happen to have boatloads of money.
Starting from the first book you meet Trey Donovan who believes that he is truly a broke billionaire. At one point he tells Ellie that he might have wealthy, but his money can't buy him the things that are really important. Due to personal reasons he needs to step down from running his huge corporation. This leads to the second book where Trey turns his business over to his brother, Trevor Donovan. Trevor is thrust into a position that he isn't prepared for. The position, running his brother's corporation, gives him everything he's ever dreamed of. At the same time it has almost made his dreams unattainable. He has to learn that to get his dreams he has to really listen to others because money can't get you everything. He also has to learn that he makes the rules. When he learns both, then he is able to get the girl and crush the competition. This leads to the last book where we meet the competition, Selena Chase. (As a side note I would be remiss to not point out how very refreshing it is to read about a female billionaire for a change!) When we finally meet Selena she comes across as a spoiled witch that freaks out when she doesn't get her way. A billionairess who isn't use to people standing up to her. Until Hunter shows up to give her a massage and refuses to back down. Selena is instantly on alert because he treats her differently than most people do. The problem is that Hunter feels they can never be together because they are from different social classes. Selena realizes how alone she is - no real friends and no one to love or love her. Surprisingly, she ends up finding her happily ever after in the most surprising place.

The Broke Billionaire (Book 1) is a short funny read. Ellie a struggling cupcake store owner hits with her car Trey Dovovan, a billionaire and rushes him to the hospital. She resents Trey because he rich and he is a jokester and very attracted to Ellie. Ellie and Trey's love story is a fun read.
The Billionaire’s Brother (Book 2)
Trevor Donovan was appointed by his brother Trey in charge of Donovan Enterprises. Trevor has wanted more responsibility and now that he has it is unsure if he could handle it. Millie, the executive assistant is there to assist him. Trevor and Millie are attracted to each other but they are up against office rules. This is a short sweet love story where one step at a time is learned.
The Billionaress (Book 3)
Selena Chase who competed and loses to Dovovan Brothers a huge mall contract. Selena is uptight, no friends, workaholic and her assistant Todd scheduled her a massage with Hunter. Hunters a tattoo store owner and a part-time masseur. Opposites attract. Their relationship is really funny and romantic. I loved the camping trip.
