Blake and Jewels story continues. I had mixed feelings on this book and I will try to be as honest as possible here. I feel that their story could really have been written and concluded in book one. This was the second book and at times I felt as though there was too much of a filler and not enough action to warrant a second book. However having said that, I still think the book was well written and it was entertaining to a point. Don’t get me wrong, Blake is still arrogant and clueless, although he does redeem himself to a certain point. Jewels lands up being more confused than every by his actions and at times I felt like it could have been solved in a direct conversation. (but alas, this is romantic fiction and we roll with the story). Would I recommend this book – yes, only if you have read the first one and need to see how it finishes.
