The despair of Delilah at her abduction, her joy and pain at being rescued by Ben and her desperate fear that he will quit loving her if he learns of her ‘past’ leaves your emotions jagged and raw. Ben’s own joy and pain at her rescue, the lengths to which he will go to rescue, to protect Delilah will make your heart pound and blood race.
Love and Control. Submission and Power. Trust and Fear. THIS BOOK HAS IT ALL. I can’t wait for the next installment in this series.
I fell in love even more with Ben and Delilah. You get a better look into what makes each of them tick. They have an explosive dynamic with each other, positive and negative that keeps you guessing will they make it or will their relationship crumble.
Another amazing read! So looking forward to book 3!!!
As the second book in the author’s Tainted Love Series, Broken Love picks up right where the first book, Tainted Love, leaves off. Sullivan is kidnapped by a horrible man from her past. He does things to her…horrible and disgusting things. Things that can break a person. And they do break her, or so it seems. Ben’s love for Sully is proven in this part of their story. His true feelings come to light and it shocks him to his core. If only Sully was coherent enough to know the depth of his love. We, also, find out that Sullivan’s name is Delilah and her past and reason for running are very valid and not at ALL what I expected. But, not only do we have the suspense of Sully/Delilah’s kidnapping, there is panty melting sex! The balance between the two are done so well!
When I read the first book, I loved it so much that I gave it 5 Stars. Broken Love is even better than the first and deserves more, but 6 stars is not possible. I bow down to you, Ms. St. James! Fantastic, amazing, wonderful, and perfectly done book!!
