Michael S. “Kearnsey” Kearns is a retired Air Force Intelligence Officer, and former Master SERE instructor, who has been a vocal opponent of the Bush/Cheney torture program and the dark complexities of political war profiteering at the expense of the American people. He is the sole survivor of the world’s first four-way skydive over the South Pole and the first person to have parachuted over all seven continents. Ronald Solomon has written, created and run commercially successful books, products and services spanning children's toys and games, television sitcoms and information technology.

Prior to penning BROKEN! Solomon spent over a decade in television. Starting in 1987, he worked with NBC to create the highly successful "TNBC" block of programming. He worked as a writer/producer and writer/co-executive producer on such iconic series as "Saved By The Bell," "California Dreams" (co-created by Ron for NBC), and "Hang Time."
