As the story progresses the reader gets an in depth look into how perfection is not always perfect, the toll that striving to be perfect can take and how sometimes, if you stop looking for perfect, perfect can find you.

I received an ARC for this book. I absolutely loved the book. Brianna wakes from a coma days after her wedding date. She returns home with her fiancé. Days later he leaves her a note telling her that he needs a timeout. Jayden her neighbor keeps dropping in to make sure that she was doing okay. He runs errands for her and does things around the house. She begins to feel comfortable with having him in her life. After seeing them together, her exfiancee gets jealous and wants her back. Seek counseling closure or the ability to move forward, she allows him back into her home. She discovers by accident that he has been having an affair with one of her friends who happens to be Jayden’s ex girlfriend. He moves back out to give her time to forgive him. She finally takes time to analyze her feelings for Jayden. Well written with strong characters.

When did it all go so wrong? Brianna seems to have it all a great job, a loving husband to be and great friends. But everything is about to change in a blink of an eye. She wakes up in hospital not knowing what happened and when she realizes that she has just woken from a coma and that she will need to learn to walk again. But her first thought is where is Kevin why isn't he at the hospital? He has started to pull away from her and he leaves her a note saying that he can't be there for her anymore, she is heartbroken. Lucky her sexy neighbor Jaden steps in to help her get better and just to be her friend. But is she ready to put the past behind her and move forward? Just when things start going well for them Kevin reappears and Brianna decides to give him another chance. But will she see his true colors this time or will she keep on allowing him to control everything about her life? Will she be able to end her relationship with Jaden and never find the happiness that she deserves? Will Jaden give her space or will he leave her life for good? Brianna is about to find out that she was never in the wrong and that she deserves to the person that she is and not what Kevin wants her to be. A good read. Never thought that Brianna would ever look and realize that her relationship with Kevin was toxic, he was always putting her down and he made the relationship all about him. Thank heavens she found Jaden and now she can be the person that doesn't have to feel bad about what they eat, drink or even what size clothes they wear.I know why I never liked Tiffany what a snake. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for my honest review.

A victory for unconditional love.

This is the first book from Heather Henle that I’ve read and I will certainly be on the outlook for more from her. Heather’s characters are likeable and very real. I’m sure we have all known individuals in our lives who are just like those in the story. I enjoyed the twist and turns and found myself hoping that the main characters would be able to find their happy ever after. I was grateful that the secondary characters felt loyalty to and love for their friends. This is a story in which that main character overcomes great obstacles throughout her life with strength and integrity to finally experience the true unconditional love that we all dream of and hope for. Thanks, Heather for a great book. I really enjoyed reading this one.

OMG! This book is so good. I may have to turn around and read it all over again. In the beginning, Kevin and Brianna appear to be totally in love and are engaged to be married. Brianna is in an accident and spends a week in a coma with Kevin nowhere to be found. Kevin leaves a note that says ‘I’m sorry I can’t do this.’ In the meantime Jaden, the hot, sexy, sweet next-door neighbor, is helping with groceries, errands, and just making sure Brianna is well cared for. After Kevin breaks her heart, she takes him back. But don’t count Jaden out yet. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so just pick up this book and read it. You won’t be disappointed. It’ll make you curl your toes, clap your hands and squeal with happiness.

Real love, true love wouldn'

OHHH MY GWAD.... The things Brianna goes through in this book are true tests of her inner strength. I am 1000% appalled at Kevin and personally would have kicked him to the curb at the first sign of his lack of heart during her recovery. The excuse was just that, an excuse. Real love, true love wouldn't have walked away at the first sign of trouble. Ugh, I am shocked she let his distant behavior and lack of affection go on for as long as she did. Although I guess with her emotional background I can also understand. Brianna is a survivor and Kevin is a spineless loser. Now Jaden, thats a man. A real man. She was only his neighbor and he was there for her more than her own fiancé. She was able to be herself with him and that is what she needed! I gotta say the emotional roller coaster had me going crazy. And then the bomb had me like wow. I mean I had started to suspect but had hoped I was reding more into the behavior than it really was. I absolutely enjoyed this book and recommend it to all of my friends!!
