I LOVED LOVED LOVED Broken Truth.
You know some people love to write, but some people are born to write. Ms. Beth Ashworth has a long career ahead of her. Thank god she followed her passion.
The story is told all from Charlie's perspective and therefore the story progression and the revelations all happen at the pace that she discovers things. You can guess aspects of the story although one of the aspects I was not expecting, I would love to tell you who this revelation concerns but that would really ruin part of the story and contain a huge spoiler, all I will say is that character gets mentioned a lot (I'm a tease I know, you'll never guess!!). The heartbreak and love that she feels towards Callum are really well written and the sex scenes between the pair. . . well have a fan at the ready!
The supporting characters in Charlie's friends all play an integral part of the story and I loved them all, especially Xavier! I loved the closing chapters and the epilogue although I have to admit to wishing that the reconciliation had taken part over a few more chapters. After all the heartbreak I couldn't help feeling that Charlie took him back way too easily, I'd have made him sweat!!
This book is well worth a read and I doubt very much if you'll regret one-clicking!!
Please note I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow I seriously LOVED this book!! Charlie a bright sassy young woman has the hottest man Callum (YUM) on her arm and in her bed! So much goes on in this book it was a rollercoaster of emotions from happy to heart ache, so many twists that you don’t see coming!
When I first started reading I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was hooked pretty much from the start and I found it very hard to put down. The steamy scenes get the heart rate going. I loved Charlie’s friends Lucy and Amelia they are loyal and such fun and so caring towards each other.
Such an amazing read especially for a debut novel! I recommend this to anyone and everyone you will fall in love with the characters, the storyline and the author, Beth! Beth you have done such an amazing job with this book and I am so glad I got the opportunity to read and review this book; I cannot wait for more from you!

This book is about a girl who meets a boy. Yay, yah, but honestly there is so much more. It’s not typical and will keep you guessing.
One thing I really like is Charlie. She wasn’t whiny, brainless and a crack to step on. She was sassy and had a good head on her shoulders. She didn’t let life get her down or hold her back even with love at stake.
And Callum, he was a sexy, sex god. Damn if only he would leap out of the pages of the book. But I digress.
If you are looking for a solid read that will keep you on your toes with sex that will make your panties burn in flames, pick this one up.
First the premise- Girl is working hard-exhausted- has a second job where she meets “THE ONE”. He sweeps her off her feet, takes care of all of her debt, moves her into gorgeous apartment and they have mind blowing sex. Sounds good so far? Well here’s the kicker- he works in London- several hours away, leaving on Sunday and returning to Manchester every Friday. So she gets to have fun all week- going out with her pals most nights, works and waits for him to return each week. When he returns each week, they are all over each other, he wines and dines her and goes out with all of their pals. She MAYBE gets a call or two during the week, but isn’t concerned AT ALL!
SERIOUSLY?!?! She is a young, beautiful girl, Callum is several years older than her, successful and gorgeous. Sounds like sex on a stick. Perfect arrangement for over 15 months. Until he seems a bit distant (I guess further away than London?) and misses his time with her or is constantly on the phone with “work”. The storyline felt very predictable to me.
So she decides to surprise him in London. You know this can’t end well.
The fallout from this disaster is widespread. Lots of broken hearts…and noses.
The motivation of the H/h is what baffles me. Do people really get married or stay married for the kids? Even if they can’t stand each other?
Is there still this naiveté—“of course he has no life outside of his time with me,” never mind that he freaks any time the future is discussed?
Amidst all this crazy Callum fights for Charlie- yay-and Charlie matures-double yay! The epilogue does a good job of wrapping all of the storylines up.
