    This is a 'MUST HAVE' for any person wanting to record to more than one device at a time. I use this item while I record video depositions.I am able to send video and sound to my portable .MP3 recorder and a SONY DVDIRECT recorder at the same time without loss of quality. It is much easier to use than trying to connect several splitters, which really creates too many points of failure. A great tool to have in any videographers toolbox.

    It worked great for what I wanted to do. I was able to connect my Playstation 2 to this and then run 1 male end to my TV and the other male end to my capture device. This circumvented all the problems I was having running video into the capture device only and then back to the TV.

    I'll second another reviewer's complaint about the cord being ridiculously short. Unless the plugins for your devices are right next to each other you will need some kind of extension.
