I love this product! I have suffered from IBS, chronic constipation, and gluten intolerance for years. After listening to Dr. Levy’ YouTube lectures on the benefits of maga dose vitamin c, I purchased this product to see if it would help me. I started with adding 3000 mg of this product to my daily fiber/protein smoothie. Over 8 weeks, I gradually increased the amount of vitamin c and am, as of writing this review, up to 12,000 mg per day. THE IBS, CHRONIC CONSTIPATION ARE GONE!!!! I ate one yeast roll the other night with no problem!!! I believe this vitamin c has healed and continues to heal my gut, where our immune system is! Heal the gut! Heal the body! I strongly recommend listening to Dr. Levy on YouTube and then get this product! It will probably help anyone who lives with a compromised immune system, which is probably all of us due to our poor diets and poor nutrient food sources. And for the amazing benefit, it is NOT expensive! It is worth your improved health. We have nothing to lose by taking mega dose vitamin c therapy and so much to gain!!

I have been reading about all the benefits of high dose Vitamin C for a while now so my husband and I started taking 10,000 mg (10 grams) spread throughout the day. The most amazing thing happened, a few weeks into this protocol my eyes began to feel so different as if they had been taken out, cleansed, lubricated, and put back in.. As for my husband, he has used eyedrops for 25 years and no longer needs them. The whites of his eyes use to be yellow gray in color, not they are white... I know, weird but true. Bronson is a great product.

This Product Has Lost Its Potency

My husband and I have been supplementing with Vitamin C for over 20 years now. For most of those years, we have used the Vitamin C from Bronson Laboratories. We have noticed changes in the Sodium Ascorbate powder, and we do not think these changes are for the better. The product no longer seems to have the potency that it once possessed. Sometimes, when we open up a brand new canister, the product will appear as it always did: as crystals. Other times, it appears as a fine powder. Something just isn't right to us. In the past, if I took 8 grams at a shot, I usually hit bowel intolerance. Now, I can take up to 30 grams a day, and I STILL don't reach bowel intolerance. Since I am in perfectly good health, this is a clear indication to me that this product has changed; it has lost its potency. My husband and I are going to have to look elsewhere for a better source of Sodium Ascorbate. There's an old saying: "If it ain't broke...don't fix it." For the life of me I simply cannot understand why manufacturers just can't leave their products as is. They start tinkering, fiddling, tweaking, and before you know it, you have a useless product on your hands. After 20 years of purchasing Vitamin C from Bronson Laboratories, it's time to say, "good-bye." The human body does not lie, and both my body, as well as that of my husband, is telling us that this product has lost its potency and is no longer as effective as it once was.

After being diagnosed with pneumonia that has dragged on for 4 weeks I started taking oral tablets, 500 mg. each, about 1 per hour. I quickly tired of that and started researching high dose Vitamin C. My research took me to a web page on high dose C and am I glad it did. Have been taking this now for a couple of days and it's fantastic. The bottle is huge, much bigger than I thought. There's a neat scooper too, to help with dosage. Yes it's sour (bitter?), but hey it's Vitamin C it's not supposed to taste like candy - just mask it in your drink. I just started my daughter on this, she was just diagnosed with a sinus infection. Really thrilled with the amount, dosage, and cost.

We just ordered our third bottle of this stuff. My family with multiple food sensitivities has never had an issue with this powder so I'm super happy about that. We use this most days thrown into smoothies, when someone is sick in our home we double the amount and sometimes triple it. My children (2, 5, 6) barely ever get sick. Sometimes the six yr old will bring something home from school, but it's never that bad and the two younger kids rarely catch what he has. Ever since we started using this brand of vitamin c, the illnesses really haven't been that bad at all. My neighbors/friends/people we always hang out with all got their flu shots and then immediately got sick. We call this vitamin c our "flu shot" and no one in my family has gotten the flu. And again, when the colds/viruses are going around, we feel pretty confident that this vitamin c is helping us get over the sickness quicker or just helping us avoid it all together.

This has been a great source of vitamin c for my family. We tried another brand which I feel was making us sicker, but this one seems to be more pure. The taste is amazing if you like super sour foods! I add it to my ACV drinks, smoothies, popsicles, and homemade gummies for an extra kick. Since using this product I've noticed my family hasn't been sick once in months. I have a couple floor lickers so we used to get sick often; it seemed like every month someone got a cold.

For my family, we prefer the ascorbic acid as it's just plain vitamin c. This is one of the only brands I trust that are actually non GMO. We were thinking about maybe trying the sodium ascorbate but seeing as how my family hasn't reacted poorly to the pure ascorbic, I'm content to stick with this. We include a lot of Redmond Real Salt (Rock Salt) in our diet and I think that has helped with absorbency. It's cheaper to buy the high quality salt separately than the sodium ascorbate powder anyhow. Ideally I'd like to get our vitamin c straight from food sources, but that's too expensive for my family at this time.
