I love the variety in these 3 20-minute workouts! I do not like working on my abs in the traditional way and these workouts are not that. Yes you will see some classics, but they are mixed in with some other great moves. I love the pilates inspired section. There is also a cardio workout which is more fun than difficult. Brooke has made workouts fresh and fun. Again this is beginner/immediate. If you are advance you could use this on a day when you need a break from draining workouts. I love all of her workouts and look forward to more.

1. Cardio Crunch: This is the easiest of the three and the cardio, in general, is light and minimal. The plie hop and the cardio can can are probably the two most intense cardio segments which you can easily modify.

Reading other reviews led me to make this pruchase. I enjoy this DVD and have used it almost every day since I got it. Three workouts let you pick and choose, what you are in the mood for, or if you want to make a schedule for yourself. The 1st one is sort of aeobic abs, the second is pilates inspired moves with more floor work, the last is "Sweet 16"...Brooke's 16 fav ab exercise--though not quite 16 because she count, left and right as two separate exercises. For the most part, the exercise are suitableto begiiner/intermediate..Some are tougher than others, and I guess it depends on personal body strength. I have more difficulty w exercises that work the lower abs, but obliques are easier for me.
As a side note, which I addressed in my other review, did not see the Smoothie recipe.

I am not a beginner and have been working out for over 4 decades now. Because of deteriorating knee capacity, I can not jump quickly. Brooke is good, however here is my experience: I wish she would run her ab routine in a better order. On the floor, off the floor, up, down, spin around. The routine could have been worked all standing abs first, then half way routines, then all floor work. My knees were not happy and it's hard for me to get up and down quick enough and wasteful to my time. Mind you, I'm still a physically strong workout girl. Just have to keep finding best moderation. If she took the three segments and made one great kick ab workout, I'd be so happy. I do not think I will be joining in with this DVD again as some others I own, run better routines. Disappointed.

I've done numerous workout DVD's such as Jillian Michael's, P90X, Insanity and Brooke's 2 previous DVD's. My favorite of Brooke's is her DVD workout that she made with her trainer Greg. Even as advanced as I am, it provides a great workout. Brooke's new DVD Sexy Abs is great for beginners. But unfortunately, since I'm a advanced, it just didn't give me the "burn" I needed to see results. So if you are a beginner or even intermediate this DVD is the one for you!! She's a wonderful trainer, works out with you the entire CD and keeps you motivated. She's definitely very inspiring!!

Great for a quick and breezy workout. Cardio Crunch and Classic Core are not as challenging as Sweet 16. I have all of Brooke's DVDs and I use this one most often because: You can never work your abs too much; and it's so short I can combine it with another short workout.I just love Brooke--she's so motivating and I always look forward to her workouts. The production and design of these is so well setup. I also like how you see the exercises on the screen as they're being done. This is a good beginner video--definitely not for someone who's looking for a hardcore workout.
