I watched Brook and her mother go through such a terrible time with her chronic pain and depression and they came out on top. This is such a hard topic to cover but so important in this age group. Kimberly is passionate to help parents and teens to open the door to meaningful conversations and remove the stigma associated with depression and mental health issues. Brook is such a good example of how this problem can be turned around with love and support from friends, family and the right professionals.
This book gives a positive outlook on these topics and should be covered as much as other teen issues.
Looking forward to a follow up book!
