After some research, I decided to give Brooks a try (though I was also considering Hoka's). The Launch 3's I noticed on sale in Amazon and ordered a pair...
The day they arrived, I threw them on and immediately ran 30 sec faster than my normal pace for my short run downtown. The next day, I used them on my 8 mile morning loop, and they felt great! Again, pace was quicker and no issues.
Just yesterday for the 4th of July, I did a little 5k race and managed a respectable 23 min time (7:29 pace) while pushing my 4 year old daughter in her stroller. And my legs and feet felt great. Was it all the shoes? Possibly...
