Until the past three years, I've loved this brand. However, something has changed recently. The quality control is slipping. I (for the first time) received a previous model that was too small (even though I ordered the same size as always).
Later ones were the correct size. However the later ones have not been as durable. Until the the past three years, I have NEVER had an issue with the soles delaminating. Every one I have purchased in the past three-years, after the 3 month mark, the soles have begun to delaminate. I wrote Brooks about this, but never received a response. Conceptually, it doesn't matter, because I usually replace my shoes around this mark anyway (soles wearing out), but I do like to use them for yard work. I don't want to trip, though, if the sole catches on something. I have invested in Shoe Goo to fix them, but that really isn't a solution.
Finally, my latest pair (same size as always), is simply wider than they have been in the past. I'd rather not have to go to sporting good stores each time for fitting and purchasing. I'd like to simply continue to purchase online, but this seems riskier and riskier.
I have one petty complaint - I wish they came in a wider range of more interesting colors! The current line-up is pretty boring. C'mon Brooks - lets get some hot colors going for that marathon finish line photo!
I can tell you they redesigned these from previous model. I have a bony long foot with a arch ( 6'2 ish and 184 lbs). After wearing these for a month now working out and at work the outter front side parts dig into my foot at the pinky toe connecting joint. You can see it the black solid part that runs up the base of shoe laces. It has started to case pain on my both feet. So now I am looking at other brands and styles.
In short they ok if you just fun them occasionally but you wear them all day I advise looking else where as these are not as comfortable as previous model (of this subjective).
Nov 27, 2017 - I had to update my review from a 5 star down to a 1 star. After a 3 months my left toe was hurting like it was going to break when stepping off. It only does this when I wear these shoes. I tried all my other shoes even my dress shoes and nothing. It's definitely these shoes. I noticed the left shoe sole is slightly different around the toe. It is straighter and not as curved as the right. It's hardly noticeable but I suspect that pressure over time may have caused this toe discomfort with these shoes. Too bad I was really liking these.

These one's were different to the one's I've got as they have reflective strips whereas the same ones before didn't so not sure what happened there
They are very comfortable and do exactly what they need to
Only thing with slight concern was that they make my feet very hot and sweat a lot which was not the case in the previous pair
Light, breathable and they feel sturdy.
