I do have a bunion on my right foot that pains me with any kind of activity. I have not been able to find a shoe that doesn't wind up hurting me. I found them, these!
I'm also not very good at running, I stink at it. But actually being able to wear a shoe that doesn't add insult to injury, it's a life saver! My first day wearing them, I had to do 200 meter splits of run/sprints/various weighted carrys & people were actually asking me if I've been practicing outside of the gym (I haven't). I'm starting to think I haven't sucked all along, that my shoes were holding me back because of my bunion pain. I would push through the pain and deal with the intense sharp pain and burn afterwards. It's nice to not be bothered with it.
Also, they're really light, have a great spring/bounce in them (forgive my terminology, I'm not a runner), and I like that I can feel the air move through the shoes. Someone said the piece on the back by your achilles, that it doesn't have the cut out to it and it irritates the skin, I do not have that issue.
I can't say enough about these, and they're super cute to boot! 😉
I'm including a picture of what my feet look like because I read a lot of reviews with bunions in them, but you never know how good or bad someone's are. Not that my pain is the same as anyone else's, but you can at least see the shape and condition. It's the right one that gives me trouble, the left one never bothers me.
Give them a try! They're great!
