- Smelled really bad like plastic. I aired it out in the garage and used Febreeze on it. After a couple of days it was fine.
- Arms are too short - You can't put a drink in the holder without knocking it over so it is pretty much useless. The only advantage to short arms is that I can use my laptop tray on my lap and it sits perfectly due to the short arms.
- "Massage" - it just vibrates. But I was not expecting anything more since most products that say they "massage" vibrate also.
It does provide good back support even though the neck portion is a little short. All in all, I like it and am glad I have it for the back support but since all of the other features are inadequate, I do not think it's worth $100.
Pros: With exception to the positioning of the cup holder and the control panel (discussed in the cons), the chair feels great. The massage is a cool feature and the chair is easy to store under the bed. Also, I have to mention that mine didn't come with the smell that everyone's complaining about. Lastly, and jumping ahead, the issues in the cons section can be remedied by folding and placing towels over the armrests (or by ignoring the discomfort altogether).
Cons: The control panel and the cup holder are clumsily located on the top of the arms, which are pretty short to begin with (note that I'm 5'6"). I keep the chair unplugged to avoid accidentally activating or turning the features off with my right forearm. The cup holder is useless. It is about a half inch deep and was clearly designed to accommodate standard household coffee cups (you know, the ones with the wide base and the little finger handle), so anything taller will flop over. But even if the cup holder did accommodate taller cups it's location sorely interferes with my left forearm.
I gave this product one star, but mostly because such easily foreseeable design flaws ruin what could've otherwise been a great chair.Read more ›
Cons - If you plan to use the cup holder for cups then they better be empty :) Basically the arm rests are too short to allow the cup holder to be used properly. There is a good chance of causing spills if you move your hands with a cup present in the holder. I use it as a cell phone stand.
It had a "plasticky" smell that lasted for a couple of hours after the package was opened.
Warning - Do not assume this will cure your back problems. This is not a kneading massager. This is definitely not a replacement for a real massage.
Summary - A good buy as long as buyer knows what they are getting. This is not a full blown massage chair with all the options. This can be priced a little lower maybe around the 69.99 point.

It was okay, but didn't work for the person it was purchased for. No problem returning it.Published 2 months ago by sef
I am happy about this product, but not as great as I originally thought it would be. The back rest is hard and the massage function is loud. The light is nice and is bright enough. Read morePublished 5 months ago by nicole
it's ok. That's it. I bought this so I could play video games while sitting on the bed. Problem is it's designed for a child. Read morePublished 6 months ago by MsCougarGirl
I bought this initially as a gift, but after seeing it in the store at Brookstone, I decided to keep it for myself. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Lauren M.
