Of course, no dedicated Islamist should take offense at any of this book, since it points out how well their strategy of lies, denial and obfuscation is working like malignant cancer inside the American system of liberty and justice. But no contrary argument by the American Left will ever be so well documented and factual as this book.
I recommend this book to two divergent groups of people: first to Christian American patriots who are not hearing the truth about Islam in the media nor in their churches; and second to cultural Muslims in America who hate or fear sharia coming in their children's future.
The 4-star rating relates to our too-rapidly changing world and the related fluidity of the Mid-East: For example, Stakelbeck refers to Morsi as president of Egypt, which was true at the time of his writing, but not true at time of my reading.
On the other hand, a person recently in the news I had questions about, in terms of the role he was playing in a recent major international political event, is well explained, three years before the event, in Stakelbeck's book.
The book is meticulously researched and Stakelbeck connects all the dots . . . repeatedly.
His arguments circle themselves like buzzards over roadkill.
I'm not saying it wasn't interesting, it was simply overkill. Too much backtracking over the same information chapter after chapter. It had me putting the book down for days at a time.
In the end, I'm glad I finished it, but it became a chore.
