This was a awesome book. If you have read or know anything about the military, they use hand signals unique to their unit. What a wonderful idea to incorporate ASL into such a moving story. After being medically discharged from the Navy, Cooper had no idea what to do with this life. Kiera was happy with her life. She loved her job as a teacher at the school for the deaf. Sparks fly when the two meet at the school. Can Kiera help Cooper cope with civilian life? Can Cooper find happiness outside of the military? This is a must read

Absolutely loved it.
Highly recommend
I loved Cooper and keira together. They were perfect for each other, they completed each other. I loved how Cooper was with Keira and with all the students.
Another great couple to add to the growing list of amazing heros and heroines you will always find in one of Susan's books.
This book, as all of Susan's books do had me on the edge of my seat, laughing and crying all in the time it took to read it.
Do your self the favor read this book.

Ms. Stoker wrote a riveting, sensual romance, but also compassionately realistic one that deals with an ex-SEAL's deafness & learning to acclimate to civilian life. Heartwarming, angst, love, laughter, tears, and a HEA made this a read twice novel for me. Can't wait to read more of the series. Loved it!!

Protecting Kiera is another 5 star book by Susan Stoner. I enjoyed visiting old friends from her SEAL of Protection series and also Swede from the Brotherhood Protectors series. In addition to it being a great military romance, as with many of this author's books, I learned quite a bit along the way. Until this book I never thought about the fact that those who know ASL just consider themselves as bilingual. As with all Susan Stoker's books I highly recommend "Protecting Kiera".

I give it 4 stars because I love Susan Stoker. This was a quick read, almost too quick, the first time the two stars talked they discussed a forever future. I enjoyed the whole premise of a sign language teacher and a deaf seal, I would have liked more suspense and less dialogue. When we got to the sex, it was good. Fall in love with Susan Stoker's writing with her earlier series, Seal of Protection. I have re-read that series more than once. EXCELLENT.

I loved this cross over book by Susan Stoker. Of course I've not read anything from her I haven't loved. In Protecting Kiera, our heroine is strong and independent with just enough vulnerability to add to the story. I love the fact that Kiera is able to teach Cooper a few things... Like dirty asl, that was hilarious and super cute. I highly recommend this book. You can read it as a stand alone, but several characters from past seal of protection make appearances.

another fantastic read by Susan. I especially love the camaradie betweein Cooper and little Frankie and the macho chin lifts. You won't be disappointed. I love that Cooper picked up on the sign language and Kiera was just a beautiful herioine protecting her deaf school kids.

Really enjoyed getting to know Cooper and Kiera along with their journey to find happiness. Loved Frankie and am looking to finding out more about Cutter. Of course, this was seamless addition to the Seal's world and getting to know Swede a little more. Loved touching base with old friends in the Protection world. This author knows how to keep the pages turning by hooking the reader from the first and keeping attention to the end .

This is the second book by Susan Stoker that I have read. "Assisting Aimee" was great and so is this one. I now have another "go-to" author and look forward to reading her other books. Even though I have not ready the other books in the "Protecting ..." series yet, I was able to get into the story without any difficulty.

This novella is a must have!
Novellas are usually short and over way to quick with not a lot of story. This story was crammed full for a novella. As always, Susan Stoker always gets so much information and story into her books. This one was no exception!!
