This game is way better - WAY BETTER - than Road to Hill 30. There have been many improvements. The levels are larger, the enemies are smarter, and there's co-op play. It also features a skirmish mode that lets you play as Germans and Americans.

The greatest thing about this game is the improved enemy AI. In the last game, I was dissappointed that the enemy just sat behind cover and popped up and shot every once and a while. In this game, you have to be way more careful. The enemy will actually manuever around you and flank you if you don't watch out. So this game combines both elements of offense and defense.

Overall, its a great game.

This game is much better on PC. The PS2 just does not give it justice. The controls are hard to handle, and the game is very, very blurry making it hard to spot enemies. I believe this was ported over to PS2 resulting in the mishaps. Excellent game, just not on PS2. Buy this for PC.

The game is pretty fun. I just wish they gave you some health at checkpoints. A big issue is your squad. Sometimes you tell them to take cover and they expose themselves to machine gun fire. So I recommend leaving your squad behind in safety like I do, or just let them suppress the enemy from afar while you attack from a different side.

Many people who buy this game might instantly put it down after five minutes because they say they "die too much" well thats because your an idiot who dosent no how to play the game. This is a tactical shooter which means you cant just run out into the open and kill every1. This isnt like medal of honor where you can slay 50,000 Nazi's with your small sub-machine gun. NO! You actually have to think things out and decide where to place your squad. I think this game is great, if fun, challenging, and they have a sequel on the 360! Overall if your an MOH or COD fan try it out and see how you like it it has a completely different feel from the run n' gun type games

This is a very awesome fps. it has a good and long storyline that will keep you entertained for a while. Some flaws are lag. when you get in a big fire fight / alot of shooting, it slows down. also, when you kill someone, you know because it lags a bit. Its a little hard to aim a long distances (swaying sights), but that adds to the realism factor. I like that you can command a squad. squad AI is decent, and they really help!
Graphics 8/10
Sound 7/10
Realism 9/10 (depending on difficulty setting)
Fun 8/10
Overall 8/10

this game stands out as a ww2 fps, but not the best. It will leave you hooked with the sngleplayer capiagn, co-op mode, and skirmish/multiplayer mode.
Definitly worth the money!

disregard the review here that says Medal of Honor Or Call of Duty are better than this. Call of Duty & Medal of Honor are no where near in the same standard as this game. It has bigger battlefields with multiple entriy points, unprecedented squad control and unique " overhead view" of the state of play at the touch of a button. this a surperb entry into the FPS and worthy sequel to Road to Hill 30. If you haven't played this game, do, you wont regret it . also check out the PS3 release in the franchise " Hells Highway" Brothers In Arms Hell Hwy)

I had played the xbox version at a friends house and we played for at least 6 hours. Thats how addicting it was. So after many months on break (since 6 hours was a lot) I decided to play it again, but this time I wanted it for my PS2. This was probably the worst game I've ever bought. The graphics were terrible, on dark levels you can barely see the characters, and theres no way to make it brighter. When you shoot an enemy dead he disappears instead of falling (so with the flash of the gun shooting you can't really tell if you killed the enemy or if they ran off). You can only control one squad in multiplater (I didn't even try single player). Theres lag in skirmish, it's like in slo-mo. Many other visual and gaming effects aren't even there. I'd compare it to a very bad Nintendo 64 shooter. I've owned the game for one day and I'm about to make a trip to the local gaming store to try and resell it. Bottom line, if you own an xbox this is a great game but the PS2 version is like a completely different game, that isn't good. !DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The game came brand new with 2 manuals. A standard English one, and one in French. The game is fun although it is a little hard on the easy setting.
