Jackie can't believe Gabe doesn't recognise her. She should tell him, but the way he is looking at her, maybe she can pretend to be someone else, for a little while. Secrets and lies, even if by omission, have a way of coming out. The last thing Jackie wants to do is cause Gabe more pain.
Loved Gabe! A good man, who has carried blame for a tragedy he was not responsible for. Jackie is a train wreck. You can't help routing for her. Loved their epilogue.
The story has some light Dom/sub elements and does deal with suicide and it's effects on those left behind..
