The Brown & Sharpe TESA 00510212 Vernier Depth Gauge, Caliper Type, has a measurement range of 0 to 250mm, and a resolution (or smallest graduation interval) of 0.02mm, with + or - 0.03mm of accuracy. The vernier scale provides precise, fine measurement. This depth gauge has a scale background of satin-chrome for readability and the scale is slightly set back from the front edge for durability. It is made of hardened stainless steel for accurate measurements. The gauge conforms to the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) 862 (style C-2) and Norme Française (NF) E 11-096 standards.
