There is a weak point in the yellow linkage that guides the bucket arm up and down. The "c" at the top breaks off. We have 2 of these toys and they are both broken in the same spot. Very dissaponted because our boys love these and play with them often. The failure occurs when the bucket is jammed into something, such as a dirt clod in what I would call normal play. If the linkage had a little more play the stronger joint (where their hand is) at the back could take that impact instead. Bruder skimped on product testing with this one imo, we generally see very good quality and durability in their toys.
Update: Its been a couple of years since i fixed them both by wrapping a piece of 14ga copper wire around the broken part and securing with some epoxy, and the fix is holding.
