Which means form as well as function. The tipping driver's cab of the MAN cement mixer provides a view of the engine block. The mirrors of the driver's cab fold out and the water tank can be filled. The drum with integrated mixing spiral can be turned by operating a crank and the cement chute can be folded out. A bucket is included and tread tires complete the image.

From the cement chute to the front of the cab this item is highly detailed and is the epitome of what a fully functional children's cement mixer should be, all while containing no screws or any toxic glue.


Tilting Cab allows for perfect view and access to the engine compartment.	Fillable water tank after a long day on the job clean up is a must. The water tank drains water through the hose of the cement truck	Fully Functional Drum Whether its rice,beans, or sand this item features a fully functional cement drum. When the crank is turned one way it mixes the material and when turned the other way it expels material through the rear cement chute

There were two Bruder Trucks. One MACK, One MAN...they each have different features, such as the water tank on the MACK is fake, but the doors open...really important to a kid, and on the MAN the water tank is real and the doors do not open...which I assumed they did since they did on the MACK. I spent the extra 13 plus dollars on a Bruder guy to drive the truck and my Grandson cannot even get him in the cab..Bruder..it would be great if you would please make ONE single truck that does it all and save us parents and grandparents some time and trouble...just give the kids what they want please. Bruder is very nicely made and in my book can replace most of the Tonka toys since Tonka seems to be satisfied with plastic...what a shame. Even still, nicely made or not I would still like to see all the features that are desired on one item. I would buy more if this were the case. We like it even still, just somewhat disappointed.

I love this toy more than my son. It is sturdily built, has features I could never have imagined having as a kid myself... it really works like a cement mixer! Word of warning DO NOT PUT CEMENT in it. Sand works okay as an aggregate but rice is even better as a play filler for the drum. Really awesome toy and worth the money. I'm now looking forward to the next Bruder truck for my uh... kid. Seriously though if you want to demonstrate the real way that a machine works you can't get any better. Don't buy the Tonka.

Son loves these things. Only 2 complaints....the first is water hose gets in the way a lot, but that's manageable and part of the play factor. The second is the dang price of these things. Yes, they are big, and yes they are good quality, but they are not worth the price. Even at the quality of these things, they still do break, and breaking a $40-$80 truck, as my son has done, makes you not want to purchase more, lol.

We got this for our 2.5 year old that was enamored with one at a friend's house. This friend said that they were really nice trucks and sturdy, so I went ahead and got it. It's been less than a week since Christmas and he has already taken off the water tank and broken the hose off. I'm not sure how it goes back on or if it can. It may be a great truck for an older child, but not for a younger one. I had been debating between this one and the tonka concrete mixer, and chose this one based on reviews stating that the crank was harder for a younger child to turn on the tonka one. I'm now regretting that decision and wishing that I had gone with the beefier truck.

The toy itself is fine, but we have a Tonka cement mixer as well, and the Tonka is way more durable than the Bruder, which is only going to be for indoor use, opposed to the Tonka that is used outdoors because of it's quality build.

It arrived and the box was very smashed up and faded and creased. It wasn’t attached to the box by any ties. And it was very dusty. It’s obviously been a display one and they didn’t want me to have it at the reduced price so just gave me a display show one that has already been out of the box.
