There are no holes in it because there are not supposed to be holes in it. You have to take it to your local bowling alley and get it drilled to fit your hand. Keep in mind that there is a charge for this, but it's worth it to have a ball that's custom fit to you.
This ball really is beautiful and has raised my average by 14 pins in the two weeks since I have got it.
The negative: My very first night bowling with it my ball hit a pin laying in the gutter. When it came out there was a crack in the outer layer and a nice size chip in the ball. I am keeping an eye on it incase it gets bigger but damaging the ball in the very first game I played makes me wonder about the longevity of this ball.
For the price it beats using the bowling alley balls even if you only bowl a few times a year.
