I chopped off my hair in jan 2011. I used to have really really really long hair in the past so I had to learn living without it. At the moment my hair almost hit the shoulders. I've decide to buy this item since I heard that plastic brushes dry your hair off since the take all the oils from your hair and that supposed to be a reallly good natural conditioning. (I know it sound gross is not like I wash my hair once a month, I actually wash it pretty often - 2 to 4 times a week)
Since I used it I noticed a difference on my hair, it looks really shiny and easy to manipulate. Also the wooden bristles are really nice when they touch the scalp. since I cut my hair I find my scalp really sensitive to any brushes and this one really help.
If you're also looking for a shampoo I recommend washing your hair with a regular bar of olive oil soap, and as a mask dry remedy by aveda does the job. If anyone have a recommendation on conditioner it will be well received.
