The worst part was when he went to her house and kept sending flowers. He had to have known at this point that he was her worst nightmare. He didn't need to be told. He beat her up and left her for dead after brutally raping her when she was 16. There is no way she could have allowed him into her home after realizing it was him. That said, it was a well written book.
As difficult as Megan's back story was, though, I found Declan's to be even more so. Talk about overcoming adversity! But just as the blurb says...he hasn't overcome it quite as much as he thinks and that comes in to play in a monumental way as the story progresses.
Huge kudos to the writer for giving us a story that is both heartbreaking and heart-lifting at the same time. I highly recommend this book - it's a well written, thought provoking story. I'm definitely looking forward to more from this writer!

It's a bit too easy to give away spoilers so I'll stay away from the plot but will say both characters are highly likeable and the chemistry between them is beautiful and WHAT A TWIST! (Not saying any more)
Definitely will be reading from this author again. Would recommend
