Why the Būband & Sizing

We know that breasts move a lot during high-impact activity, even those clad in a sports bra. Studies show just how damaging – not to mention painful – this movement can be. But permanent damage to the fragile Cooper's ligaments can be avoided. Researchers say that “reducing strain across the mid and upper parts of the breast (precisely where the Būband is designed to be worn) will reduce the risk of damage to the internal structures of the breast.” So help your bra provide the support you need by adding the Būband. Science says your breasts will thank you!

Būband Sizing
Because the Būband fits differently than a bra, it's important to measure yourself according to the instructions below:
X-Small: 31-34”
Small: 32-36”
Medium: 35-39”
Large: 37-42”
X-Large: 41-46”

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your breasts, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Round to the nearest whole number.

A few simple tips to help you achieve the perfect fit:

1. Your Būband is worn across the fullest part of your breasts – for most women that's just above but not touching the nipples. It may take a couple of test runs to determine your ideal positioning and closure setting.

2. The logo should be above your left breast to help align the closures with the middle of your back. To put on, first fasten the Būband around your stomach with the closures in front, then spin it around and lift it up over your breasts.

3. The Būband should fit snugly enough to effectively prevent bounce but not so tightly that it's uncomfortable. If sized correctly, you’ll forget you’re even wearing it!

This thing is weird, but amazing! I'm a 34 DDD... so finding bras isn't exactly easy in the first place. To run, I usually wear two sports bras and then an athletic top with a built in shelf bra. I have had to stop running because the straps of my bras are digging in to my shoulders. I've been on one run with the buband, and it was awesome! It is tight, so I had to consciously try to belly breathe, but it wasn't a huge distraction. I can run and do jumping jacks and I had NO RED MARKS on my shoulders after my run!! I was also so much cooler without my multiple layers that I might actually be able to run outside in the summer.

This band never slipped, and an unexpected bonus is that it's placement on my chest acted almost like a modesty panel.

Some reviews complained about the weird shape this gives your chest, but I'm personally not running to put on a show for others. This keeps me secure and comfortable so I can improve my health and look my best while NOT in running gear. Very cool product.

Love this! At first it took a bit of getting used to. I was just getting over some horrible coughing sickness so that could be also why it took some getting used to the bit of tightness on my chest. We do at 100 -200 jumping jacks everyday at our fitness class. All I can say is wow! No more bouncing for me! I have been wearing this 5 days a week for a 40 min class. I am a C/D cup after having a breast reduction a few years ago. I have never been able to do any kind of "bouncing" around activity since I was around 13 years old (now 54). Now I can with no soreness after. I have noticed the fabric is starting to pucker all around and hopefully that is not from the elastic starting to stretch out.

The only issue I have is the same as some others have mentioned about the the back end sticking out. The hooks are not close enough to the end of the belt causing the end past the hooks to stick out. I got out a few of my bras to how those hooked and sure enough all the hooks are right at the end of the strap n those so they lay flat. They really need to move the hooks to the very end to keep this end piece of fabric from sticking out the middle of your back.

One other thing... Since my boobies don't bounce now I have realized that my belly is bouncing all over the place! lmao!. Now if they could also come up with something to keep the belly bulge from bouncing .... ;)

The band fits comfortably and you don't notice it once you start your workout. Easy to put on. It makes for a slightly odd shape, but I don't care about looking cute/sexy when working out because that is not the purpose. The band definitely helps with bouncing when paired with a decent sports bra. I'm a size 36DD, and usually don't run because it is too uncomfortable even with expensive runner's bras. This band made me much more interested in running again. I didn't give it 5 stars because the fabric at the clasp area is too short. It doesn't affect comfort or functionality at all, but I think they should have designed it with a longer flap. Much like corner fabric around the button on a pair of jeans pulls away over time and makes it stick out, the fabric sticks out from the band's clasp area because (of course) there is tension on the band. That could be improved. See pics.

I was really excited about this because I'm a DDD and sports bras that are big enough around usually have obscenely long straps and don't hold the girls up! This does stop the bounce which I was super stoked about but it moves and rolls. I used it when playing volleyball so I think all the arm movement was too much. I'm just going to spend the money on a nice sports bra with adjustable straps instead. It just gave me one more thing to worry about instead of making it easier.

I have D/DDs that are extra bouncy in a very noticeable way. Idk what's wrong with them, but no matter what kind of sports bra I wear, they bounce and I'm always very afraid of stretching those ligaments and making them more saggy/bouncy so I can't do a lot of cardio workouts.

This completely stops all bounce and I can finally actually run instead of using the elliptical and do JUMPING JACKS! Omg. I'm always so embarrassed about half-assing my jumping jacks in fitness classes because I don't want people to think I'm that out of shape. But now I can do everything.

It's pretty comfortable too. Not for extended periods of time but for a workout, it's great.

I don't have huge boobs (38D) and I wear heavy duty sports bras. But this hasn't stopped my post baby/nursing boobs from moving so much that high impact exercise is uncomfortable. This band really tames the sisters down! I use it for bootcamp and can now do jumping jacks, high knees, mountain climbers and all the other 'fun' exercises that were just too uncomfortable to do for very long without the band.
I wear it over a thin tank top and under a shirt. It does look odd but totally worth it! I haven't had trouble with it rolling up or down and it hasn't chaffed. Doesn't bother me at all to wear physically but it is defintely visible. Worth it!
