I love this book. As a teacher of toddlers, I love books that I can make come alive for them. I would recommend this book to my families of young children. I am adding it to my bubble theme lesson plans. I will be reading the book and then giving everyone their own bubbles. Thank you for writing this book.

Bubbles Day by Ally Nathaniel
This book reminds me of the time we spent with our grandson this summer and we did make bubbles. So fun to be able to act like a kid again.
Illustrated very colorful children's book about bubbles. The girl is named Bubbles.
You get to play a guessing game what bubbles likes and on the next page it shows you what was suggested.
When you find out what bubbles likes the best it is shown how to do it and what makes it so fun.
I like this book because it reminds me of my grandson and how he loves doing step by step instructions.

I love the book. It's in a style that's fairly new to me for children's picture books, but I like it. The art is excellent.

The story tells us what Bubbles likes and guides us through her learning to blow bubbles. It's rather cute. The words, though simple, describe well, with impact, what is going on.

The *only* drawback for me is that the girl is wearing a two-piece bathing suit on one page. This is a drawback for me because I come from a background where two-piece bathing suits are considered immodest (or revealing). So, I would sure like (and recommend) the book a whole lot more if that one picture were changed (if you let me know if it ever is changed, I can update this). It's like Ni Hao Kai-lan. It's a really, really excellent show. Everything about it is great, except that she often wears a sleeveless shirt, and on very rare occasions wears a two-piece bathing suit.

If I didn't come from the background I do, I wouldn't consider that there were any drawbacks.

I'm reviewing the PDF edition (which is likely the same as the rest).

Books by the author I quite recommend are these (especially the first):
Fabulous Me
My Snow Day
Sparkly Me
Once upon a Pencil

Great as not only a beginner reader but also as an instructional guide for small children who have not mastered the art of blowing bubbles. The story is simply written. Also, the illustrations are well done.

My wife teaches Kindergarten, so I’m always on the look out for good read aloud books to share. This book actually aims at kids before they hit school, teaching them an early appreciation of the written word by sharing the innocence of a sweet little girl learning how to blow bubbles and enjoy a warm day outside. The illustrations are perfectly suited for the tone of the story and pre-schoolers are sure to enjoy this one.

By the way, I received a complimentary digital edition of this book from Story Cartel because I promised to write an honest review. I really did like it, honestly. (You should see what I wrote about those other books... )

My kids and I enjoyed the cute pictures within this book. The text is simple and appropriate for the toddler population. As an SLP, I know that bubbles are a great way to facilitate language development. The step-by-step guide this book provides for making bubbles would make this a great way to emphasize vocabulary while doing the actions presented in the story. It would make a cute gift coupled with a good bottle of bubbles. I received this book free from story cartel in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book in exchange for writing this unbiased review.

I've enjoyed reading all of Ally Nathaniel's book to my daughter, but this one hasn't really grasped her like the others. I question some of the longer words chosen as they are a little advanced, though the pictures are cute. Also, whether it is just the free version I received for my Kindle or affects all versions, the text and the picture on the next page that goes with it won't display at the same time. The text always displays with the previous picture, which seems like a large oversight.
