This is one of a number of made-in-the-USA Buck knives. It is a convenient two-blade pocket knife that will serve you well. It is sharp, has a tight tolerance on finish, and snaps open and closed with obvious attention to machining standards. This is one of those rare products still available on the domestic market. Your great-grandchildren will covet these pocketknives as rare commodities 100 years from now as one of the few remaining examples of quality American craftsmanship. For now, this knife serves as an easily accessible favorite tool by the living room chair to carve my evening apple or pear while watching TV.

This is just the knife I need to carry around in my pocket all the time. I have larger ones which always are a burden to carry. I am always conscious of them being in my pockets. This one fits more. I can clip onto my pocket or belt when I go to the wilds but I'm really a city boy at heart and need this smaller knife for most of the time.

This little beauty is well named: a companion indeed! Small enough to go practically unnoticed in a jeans pocket, but sharp and tough enough to handle a wide range of little cutting jobs.

It's nicely made and rather elegant: the black plastic (with diagonal striations for a sure grip) and stainless steel bolsters and interior are just classic. Both blades are very sharp out of the box, and the slipjoint action is perfectly solid and feels exactly right. And it's certainly a fair price for an American-made product in this day and age.

I will definitely be carrying this knife virtually all the time!

(Note: the product description is wrong: the clip point blade is 2 inches long, NOT 1-1/8.)

Since I can remember, my father always carried this exact knife. Well after several recent hospital trips and incidents his pocket knife went missing. He was at a loss not having it in his pocket and it was and still is no where to be found.
So, for fathers day I ordered him this very knife. When I called him I thought he was going to jump through the phone from 2000+ miles away he was so happy.
This is a real Buck knife, so nothing cheap about it. It will last forever (unless it gets taken, lost or walks away). Very durable, sharp, stays sharp. This is the way to go. Knives like this have always been around since I was a baby and before, this is what took out every splinter, removed tags from the just bought item I couldn't wait to wear and had to have now. Opened Christmas gifts early Christmas morning. You name it this knife did it.

I have owned and carried, a Buck Companion knife for decades. When my sons were teenagers I purchased Buck Companions for each of them. This year I bought two more for my grandsons.
They are very good knives. They are very durable and they hold a fine edge for a long time. Plus - they are still made in the USA.

Bought as a gift to replace a 70+ year old pocket knife my Dad (his G'dad gave him as a kid) inadvertently lost to TSA. He loves it so much I bought him another and had it sent to his destination address. Just what he needed he said. This from the man that has anything he wants. Scored some points!

This is a conveniently-sized and well-made knife. The blades are sharp from the factory and the overall quality is high. It carries in a pants pocket without being obtrusive. The pin in the center of the grip was a bit proud on one side, but a few seconds with a small hand grinder cut it flush. Exactly what I need for everyday use.

I think this is a truly handsome knife. The wood is both pleasant to handle and provides a good grip. It is, of course, a small knife perfect for pocket carry even in dress slacks. If I recall correctly it is about one quarter of an inch longer (closed) than the little 2 blade Case. The blades are snug with no wobble and snap closed or open nicely. A great small knife for EDC. Fit and finish are top notch and it arrived quite sharp with the brass being polished so nicely one friend thought it was gold when he saw it.
