Product Description

This kit includes five white 6-gallon buckets with a white Gamma Seal lid for each bucket. Buckets are of FDA compliant High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE). ...that's food-grade plastic for the rest of us. HDPE is not a candidate for the use of BPA which is reassuring for those of us desiring BPA free plastics. (The industry terminology is "BPA non-intent" which means that they do not use/add BPA.) We pride ourselves in maintaining clean inventory. Loose Gamma Seal lids are typically bagged within the box. The Gamma Seal is customer installed but may be pre-installed on the bucket for shipping efficiency.

You don’t have ven need the mylar bags but get some oxygen absorbers. Thank you!

    These buckets with gamma seal lids are exactly as advertised. They are perfect for storing my bulk foods. Just add mylar bags and some moisture absorbers and your food will stay edible, safe and fresh for many years. Of course you can use the buckets as is also, because they are food safe. The rings for the lids are easy to install, especially if you have a rubber mallet, 4-5 good taps and it is securely attached.
    I did not experienced anything negative regarding the product. In fact, in the past 2 weeks, I ordered 4 sets for a total of 20 buckets and seals. Good product with exceptionally fast shipping (3-4 days) through FedEx.
